Ph.D. Forum

Call for Ph.D. Forum Papers

The 36th IEEE Symposium on Reliable Distributed Systems (SRDS 2017) will hold a Ph.D. Forum for Ph.D. students and graduate students who plan to take their Ph.D. degrees.

The Ph.D. Forum provides an opportunity for graduate students working in research areas related to reliable distributed systems to present their problem statement, goals, methods and results, and to receive high-quality feedback and guidance from established researchers and other graduate students joining the forum. The forum has a presentation slot in main conference program for each accepted paper that will be published in the IEEE proceedings and the IEEE digital library.

Note: Students are requested to contact the Ph.D. Forum Chairs as early as possible with their intention to submit to PhD forum.

The papers are no longer than 2 pages in IEEE two-column format, presenting the problem domain and statement, the main challenges identified, and the envisioned or devised approach. The first author of the paper must be a student.
